Last updated: 30 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Anastasija Sarajeva trading as Fascia Massage uses cookies and similar technologies on fasciamassage.co.uk.
It should be read alongside the Fascia Massage Privacy Notice, which explains more generally how I collect, use and protect personal information.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files or pieces of information that websites store on your computer, phone, tablet or other device when you visit them.
Cookies can help websites work correctly, remember choices, keep services secure and provide information about how visitors use a website.
Similar technologies, such as local storage, may perform comparable functions. References to “cookies” in this policy include these similar technologies where appropriate.
Some cookies disappear when you close your browser. These are generally known as session cookies.
Others remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them. These are known as persistent cookies.

This website may use the following categories of cookies.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the website and its essential services to function correctly.
They may be used for purposes such as website security, preventing fraudulent or malicious activity, remembering cookie preferences, processing forms, supporting navigation and enabling booking or payment functions.
Because these cookies are necessary to provide the website or a service you have requested, they do not normally require your consent.
Analytics and performance cookies
I use analytics to understand, in general terms, how visitors use the Fascia Massage website.
This may include information such as:
which pages are visited;
how visitors arrive at the website;
how visitors move between pages;
approximate visitor numbers;
the type of device or browser being used; and
general website performance.
I use Squarespace Analytics and Google Analytics for these purposes.
These cookies are not essential to the operation of the website and are used only where the appropriate consent has been given through the cookie banner.
The information helps me understand which parts of the website are useful, identify technical problems and improve the website and its content.
Marketing and advertising cookies
Fascia Massage does not currently use behavioural advertising or third-party advertising cookies such as Meta Pixel or Google Ads tracking on this website.
If this changes in the future, this Cookie Policy and the website's cookie controls will be updated before such technologies are used where consent is required.

I use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how people use the Fascia Massage website.

Squarespace's official Google Analytics integration may also use Google's Consent Mode to communicate your consent choices to Google.
If you decline analytics cookies, Google Analytics will not store analytics cookies on your device. Depending on Google's consent technology and the website configuration, limited technical or consent-status information may still be transmitted without using analytics cookies.
Google may process information on servers outside the United Kingdom. Where required, international transfers are subject to appropriate data-protection safeguards.
6. Online booking and Acuity Scheduling
Appointments with Fascia Massage are managed through Acuity Scheduling / Squarespace Scheduling.
When you select a booking link on fasciamassage.co.uk, you may be taken to an Acuity or Squarespace Scheduling page.
Acuity uses some cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for its booking service to function. These can include technologies that:
maintain secure booking sessions;
remember client login details where a client account is used;
display appointment times correctly for the visitor's time zone;
prevent spam;
support purchases such as gift certificates or other eligible booking products; and
help protect the booking service against fraud or abuse.
Examples used by Squarespace Scheduling may include PHPSESSID, grecaptcha, TZ, clientusername, remember_client and other necessary booking technologies, depending on how the service is used.
These cookies are controlled through the Acuity/Squarespace Scheduling service and may change as that service is updated.
Once you leave fasciamassage.co.uk and use the booking service, Squarespace/Acuity's own privacy and cookie information also applies.
7. Stripe and online payments
Online payments are processed through Stripe.
When you proceed to an online payment, Stripe may use cookies and similar technologies on its payment service.
These technologies may be necessary for purposes including:
processing payments;
fraud detection and prevention;
authentication;
security; and
remembering information required during the payment process.
Stripe uses both temporary and longer-lasting cookies as part of its services.
The exact cookies used by Stripe are controlled by Stripe and may change as its payment and fraud-prevention systems develop.
Fascia Massage does not use Stripe cookies for behavioural advertising.
Stripe's current cookie and privacy information applies when you use its payment services.
My PayPal facility is used for in-person card payments and is not currently used as a website tracking or analytics service.
8. Newsletter subscriptions
The newsletter sign-up form on this website is provided through Squarespace.
Email addresses submitted through the form may subsequently be transferred to MailerLite, which I use to manage and send Fascia Massage email communications.
MailerLite is not currently used by Fascia Massage as a website advertising or behavioural tracking service.
Information about how newsletter information is used is provided in the Fascia Massage Privacy Notice.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in those emails.
9. Your cookie choices
When you first visit fasciamassage.co.uk, you are given choices about non-essential cookies through the website's cookie banner.
You may:
Accept non-essential cookies, or
Decline non-essential cookies.
Strictly necessary cookies will continue to operate because they are required for the website or requested services to function.
You can change or withdraw your cookie choices at any time by selecting “Manage Cookies” at the bottom of the website.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing that took place before consent was withdrawn.
10. Browser controls
You can also view, block or delete cookies using your browser settings.
The method varies depending on the browser and device you use.
Blocking all cookies may prevent some parts of the website, booking system or payment process from functioning correctly.
Your browser controls are separate from the Fascia Massage website cookie settings.
11. Third-party services
This website and services connected to it currently use providers including:
Squarespace – website hosting, website functionality, analytics and scheduling
Google Analytics – website analytics
Stripe – online payment processing
MailerLite – email marketing management
These organisations operate under their own privacy and cookie policies and may update the cookies and technologies they use independently of Fascia Massage.

12. Changes to this Cookie Policy
I may update this Cookie Policy when:
website features change;
a new service or provider is introduced;
existing providers change the technologies they use;
cookie durations or purposes change; or
legal or regulatory requirements change.
The latest version will always be published on fasciamassage.co.uk with the date it was last updated.
